At the Resurgence Leadership Foundation (RLF), we envision a world where everyone and everything will be treated with dignity, respect and care due to good leadership. Thus, we focus on being a developer and trainer of faith-fueled leaders leveraging their talents, positions, and resources to help communities thrive. We are solidifying ourselves as a trusted partner who provides engaging, tailored, and ease-of-use services that contribute to the success of virtuous enterprises.

One of RLF’s initiatives to fulfill our mission is the Social Enterprise Academy (SEA). Through the SEA, we partner with organizations to train and develop entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. The experienced team at RLF builds our clients’ capacity through training, and we incubate faith-fueled enterprises that will lead to more resilient communities.

Through our partnership with the iSSACHAR Center for Urban Leadership, we live out the goals of the SEA. iSSACHAR, which Scott Lundeen leads, equips and convenes a collaborative network of Urban Christian (5 Marks) leaders and curates healthy ecosystems that embody the Kingdom of God. Their vital work across the city of Denver aligns perfectly with the work of Resurgence through our SEA. Both iSSACHAR and the Social Enterprise Academy are founded on the belief that communities will thrive because the enterprises, organizations, and institutions leading them are led by virtuous leaders making informed decisions.

Scott and I have been working together for the past three years, exploring the best ways to solidify our partnership that moves us Forward Faster. One of the strategies is for us to offer the “Called to Govern (C2G)” program through the Social Enterprise Academy. On January 17, Moyra Stiles graduate of the Fall 2023 Cohort will join me in co-facilitating a C2G Cohort. Moyra completed a cohort and will be an excellent partner in equipping leaders.

Our second strategy is for me to join the iSSACHAR team as a Fractional Chief Strategy Officer. This role will ensure that the iSSACHAR Center for Urban Leadership achieves its organizational mission by advising Scott as the CEO through strategic thought partnership. I will design and implement strategic initiatives and develop special projects in this role.

Here at Resurgence, our theme has been “Become & Build.” This past weekend, I met with our team and Board to mark the transition to our theme’s “Build” phase. One of the markers of this transition is the new partnership with iSSACHAR. Over this past year, I have repeatedly told Scott how much I love building with him because it leads to the development of Urban Christian Leaders who will expand the kingdom of God.

Together, we can move Forward Faster. Here we go!
