Resurgence Leadership Foundation Welcomes Seven New Board Members to Support Vision of Developing Virtuous Leaders

Metro Atlanta, GA—The Resurgence Leadership Foundation (RLF) is proud to announce the appointment of seven new board members. Their leadership and expertise will contribute to the foundation’s mission of developing virtuous leaders and fostering thriving communities.

The Board unanimously approved the new members of Directors who bring a wealth of experience from various industries, including education, community outreach, business, and faith-based organizations. With their diverse backgrounds, they will strengthen RLF’s programs to empower young people to become leaders who embody the values of responsibility, accountability, and dependability.

The New Board Members:

1. Monica Miles – President at MH Miles Company, CPA (Decatur, GA) Monica has extensive experience in grant and contract compliance, particularly in transportation services with government agencies.
2. Tameka Richardson – Divisional Learning Manager at Young Life, MTh (Tampa, FL) Tameka brings 15 years of expertise in community outreach and leadership development, focusing on underserved and under-resourced communities.
3. Bianca Hamilton – Former Principal at DeKalb County School District (Lilburn, GA) Bianca led DeKalb Elementary School of the Arts, where she supported STEM certification and received multiple leadership awards.
4. Dr. Dave Hillis – Senior Fellow at LF Colangelo Carpenter Innovation Center (Tacoma, WA) Dr. Hillis is a social and spiritual renewal leader committed to developing sustainable leadership for organizations and individuals.
5. Edward O. Oloyede – Contract Manager at Entegris, LL.M. (Boston, MA) Edward specializes in contract negotiation and risk management, supporting business and finance operations across industries.
6. Timothy Smith II – Adult Ministry Minister at New Life Baptist Church (Covington, GA) With over a decade of experience in mentoring and discipleship, Timothy brings a Christ-centered perspective to youth and young adult ministry.
7. Joshua Scruggs – Vice President at Coalition for Christian Outreach, MDiv (Atlanta, GA) Joshua has significant experience in strategic development and operations, having led high-capacity teams to accomplish organizational goals.

RLF’s core programs, including the Young Commanders Program, Precious Me Inc. (PMI), and Youth Mentoring Collaborative (YMC), are designed to empower individuals to become responsible, accountable, and dependable leaders. These programs help instill values leading to stronger communities, focusing on youth leadership, mentorship, and life skills.
